Danger! – Avoiding Scams & Shiny Object Syndrome

Scams online are 10 a penny. You might have come across them yourself. I know I have. I've been quite lucky though because I found Wealthy Affiliate very early in my journey as a blogger.

Not everyone is so lucky though.

Some people fall for multiple scams and lose hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

And then there's shiny object syndrome, which is just as dangerous as being scammed. SOS is where we hop about from program to program and method to method or even software to software looking for that magic bullet to make us rich.

There is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme or system. They don't work, the never did work and they never will work.

What's required to succeed as a blogger/affiliate marketer is to choose your path and stick with it until success. Hopping about will get you nowhere.

Luckily you've found Wealthy Affiliate and you'll get where you want to be simply by following the training and taking the right steps.

Studying at Wealthy Affiliate is much easier than cobbling together all kinds of different methods and advice from various people and places on the internet (usually just so they can take your money and run).

My best advice if you're a novice is to "forget" what you think you know about blogging for profits and set yourself up the right way with WA training, my help, and the help of a community of thousands of other bloggers all learning together and earning real income.

By the way, Wealthy Affiliate has a strict "NO SPAM" policy. Which means nobody is allowed to sell stuff to you. I think it's an awesome community, and that's why I've been there since 2015.
