11 Reasons to Love Affiliate Marketing

I’ve come up with my own top 11 reasons to love affiliate marketing. There are many more reasons but I like the number 11 because it’s one more than 10 and so many top tens get up my nose. Let’s dive straight in and generate a very quickly thought out 11 reasons affiliate marketing rocks and why you should learn to do it if you want a make money online strategy that works.

 

1. No More Boss

No more boss? Wow, that feeling when you become emancipated from those chains of the rat race. Okay, okay to be fair, affiliate marketing is also a part of the rat race, isn’t it? But I suppose if we must compete in the race then we might as well enjoy doing it and learn to do it well, eh? Releasing those shackles that held you back is the only way to know what it is like not to have to work for someone else ever again. On we go…

 

2. Time Freedom

Do you love waking up at ridiculous O’clock in the morning, rushing breakfast and taking a shower? Then it’s dashing the kids off to school, commuting to work, putting up with your colleagues’ bad behavior, having demands placed upon you all day.

And then you have to go home feeling wiped out and hoping that you will feel refreshed after your 4 and a half hours of sleep?

You’re kidding me, right?  You are seriously telling me that you “Dig doing that?”

Not me, I’m afraid I can’t see the point of it and I refuse to go down that road ever again for I know where it leads and I promise you it is monotonous and soul destroying.

 

3. Work at Home

You get to work from home after you got up at what time you wanted and sorted the kids out. Maybe they’re toddlers or you’ve got various age children. It doesn’t matter because working from home makes all that rigmarole in the mornings a lot easier.

Take your time and get them to school. Spend more quality time with them in the process. Working from home in itself has many benefits. You can think of the benefits for yourself because you are different to me and we have our own separate requirements.

 

4. Work Anywhere

If you don’t want to work at home some days, you can go anywhere that has an internet connection as long as you have some kind of device to connect to it. I’m often seen in the coffee shop with a laptop, a posh cup of coffee and chocolate muffin. I love that aspect of affiliate marketing and blogging.

 

5. It’s very Cheap to Startup (sometimes free)

Getting started in affiliate marketing is cheap.  Heck, you can even join online affiliate marketing schools that give you tons of goodies just for joining up as a starter member for free. One such awesome place I know of has a free starter membership and they even let you have access to exclusive training.

6. You get to choose what products you promote

You will be so much more successful if you choose a niche you love. That niche must be something you love and you are willing to dive into deeper. Getting stuck in to a niche you love is so much nicer than choosing a niche that bores you. You won’t make a dime with that kind of approach. Choose something you love and it doesn’t feel like work, it feels more like play.

 

7. You could make a lot of money if you do it right

Speaking of playing, do you know how much money you could make if you learned all the tricks and you had fun building websites, blogging and getting paid commissions? Do you know how it feels when your first commission goes ka-ching? A wonderful sound is that.

The Ka-chings on my mobile phone were great for a while but I simply had to switch off the notifications because they were interfering with my sleep (a nice interference if you know what I mean?).

Turn off your notifications on your phone if you want to make autopilot commissions without becoming a zombie.

 

8. You don’t lose a lot of money if you do it wrong

If it all goes pear-shaped and you do something wrong then it is no big deal.  It can be rectified, learned from and done better next time around. Failure is a catalyst for success. Keep going and know that each time you make a mistake you are actually learning something very useful and you are getting closer to success.

This is because mistake number one is remembered and not repeated. So that mistake becomes not a waste of time, but something that has value for the future. How’s that for turning a negative into a positive? This is the attitude I want you to have going forward.

Don’t beat yourself up when you make these mistakes, kid! They are not the setbacks that you think they are…

Use them wisely and you will attain what you desire.

 

9. You choose who to work with and when

You get to choose where and when and of course with whom you want to work – if at all! Many like to work alone and many create teams in an organic fashion – something that happens naturally in internet marketing and blogging and stuff.

 

10. You can get paid recurring commissions

One-off commissions are great and all, but recurring commissions are the most satisfying. They are your bread and butter and the rest is jam. I like bread and I like butter. Do you like jam?

 

11. It’s fun, rewarding, fulfilling, exciting and fascinating!
