Information overload is the number one reason I joined Wealthy Affiliate in the first place. I was floundering around google and youtube trying to put the pieces together myself and was constantly being side-tracked by the so-called gurus who all had a better way of doing things. Well, computer knowledge and even website knowledge is not required. You will learn all you need to know by following the training at Wealthy Affiliate. It’s step by step and all the important stuff to learn is shown in video training. Now, since you were able to make a comment on my site here today, that’s about all the knowledge of computers you need. I can assure you that you will be taken care of in the knowledge sense simply by joining up and using WA.
If you have a facebook account, then it also proves that you have enough computer knowledge. How did you cope when setting up your facebook account? If you mentioned facebook to a newbie and they said “but I don’t have computer knowledge” you would give a similar answer to what I’ve given you here. It’s very similar and nowhere near as hard as you think it is before you do it. After you do it you realize that it is a breeze.

I won’t lie to you. It’s not a walk in the park. It takes time and effort. Unfortunately in today’s society most people are not able to grasp this basic concept of working hard first and reaping the benefits later. People want instant results and if they don’t get them, they move on to the next shiny object.
The greatest thing at Wealthy Affiliate is that they do not in any way try to convey that you will get rich quick. This very thing alone is the first thing that told me that Wealthy Affiliate is legitimate. They do not try to con you out of money with upsell after upsell. Quite the opposite in fact. They try to stop you spending money on shiny objects and keep you with just the basic requirements until you can learn for yourself what it takes. I like that.
Indeed you can transfer your existing website (or websites) over to Wealthy Affiliate for hosting, which saves heaps of money because you no longer have to pay hosting at hostgator or bluehost etc. They take care of your website better too, site support is fast should you ever have an issue with your website.
Your second question, how to get your website(s) seen is answered in the training. Wealth Affiliate will teach you how to do proper keyword research with the “low hanging fruit” method. They’ll teach you how to leverage social media, ppc and lots of other ways you can “drive traffic” to your site.
As I said it does take time. If you’re willing to learn the proper way, you should definitely go for it at WA. Let me know if you join up and I’ll show you a few things inside that will accelerate you a bit. There’s so much there that it can be hard to know what to look at first. Also, stick to the training videos.
